Kolkata, October 31, 2026 : On October 31st at 3 PM, a spooky event took place at ‘Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor’ in the Sector 5 area of Salt Lake. The occasion featured a variety of chilling, thrilling, yet entertaining ghost stories, along with the launch of special ‘ghost-themed’ platters and a menu bearing ghostly names. The event was attended by ‘ghost experts,’ as well as a ‘Brahmadatya’ (a type of spirit) and a ‘Gechho Bhoot’ (a tree-dwelling ghost) themselves.

Rajib Pal, the owner of the restaurant ‘Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor’, has extended a warm invitation to everyone to visit any of his restaurant’s branches between October 31 and November 7, where they can enjoy a variety of dishes served by ‘ghosts’. ‘Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor’ has always been committed to preserving the heritage and culture of the Bengali people.

According to Rajib Pal, “While today’s generation is quite enthusiastic about Halloween, they have hardly any awareness of ‘Bhoot Chaturdashi’.”
